Shringa and Ratnakar’s destination wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love in a beautiful resort in Nashik wihth breath taking views of mountains and calm lake. The blend of traditions, the offbeat location, and the love between the couple made it an unforgettable experience. It was a reminder that love knows no boundaries!
The celebrations started with the Haldi ceremony, which was held during the golden hour. The mandap was set against the backdrop of the mountains, with the sun setting behind them. The view was simply breath taking. The ceremony started with lots of dancing and dhol, followed by the pooja and Haldi. The couple was showered with petals, and just when they thought everything was over, their cousins poured a bucket of water on them! It was a fun and memorable moment.
The Sangeet night was all about dancing and having fun. The guests changed into western wear after Haldi, and the evening started with a ring exchange ceremony and lots of photos. Ratnakar’s uncle emceed the night and made everyone come to the dance floor and dance to their favourite songs. We danced our hearts out and enjoyed every moment of it. After the dance performances were over, the DJ night started, and everyone hit the dance floor.
The wedding day arrived, and the mandap was set against the calm and serene lake. Shringa wore a beautiful Nauvari sari, and Ratnakar looked dashing in his traditional kurta and dhoti. The wedding followed the traditional Maharashtrian customs, and we witnessed a beautiful blend of two cultures. The couple smiled and chatted with each other throughout the ceremony, radiating love and happiness.
